Safeguarding Cultural Memory Through Education
Bharatcharcha Foundation is the institutional wing of Bharatchitram, founded to bridge academic historiography with active ground-level community conservation and youth education.
Established under the presidency of historian and documentarian Goutam Dey, the Foundation actively organizes non-invasive field studies, student observational walks, village artisan workshops, and public symposiums across endangered heritage corridors in Eastern India.
By engaging school and university students directly with historic monuments, ancient terracotta shrines, and living crafts communities, we empower the next generation to become vigilant custodians of their own cultural inheritance.
